Hosted by Alberta Children's Research Hospital Institute and the Owerko Centre on August 26, this event brought together undergraduates, graduates, post doctoral fellows and trainees to share their latest research in maternal and child health. Megan supported this event through a comprehensive communications plan, website management, social media and day-of event coordination
During her time at Mount Royal University, Megan completed a range of applied communications projects that reflect real-world public relations practice. These include a social media campaign, a crisis communications plan and a series of press releases. Together, these projects demonstrate her ability to think strategically, write clearly and adapt to a variety of communication scenarios.
Hosted at the University of Calgary in August 2025, this conference brought together leaders and practitioners across the social work sector. Megan supported the event through the development of a feature story, social media content, on-site signage and day-of event support.
As a Communications Assistant with One Child Every Child, Megan contributed to social media strategy and content development, supported internal communications and assisted with digital reporting and analysis.
